The digital world is no longer a peripheral concern of the Church’s mission — it is, as Pope Francis has said, one of its frontiers. Online spaces have become a continent inhabited by real people, with real loneliness, real searching, and real hunger for meaning.

To evangelise this continent is not to colonise it with content, but to dwell in it as Christians: to listen, to be patient, to offer the Word of Life in a register that the algorithm does not flatten. The same Spirit who hovered over the waters at creation hovers over the noise of our feeds, waiting for a word of light.

A placeholder reflection — Fr Francis Afu’s actual writing will replace this after the site is delivered.
