Lord of the evening,
The day is folding into rest, and I bring it all to You — what was given, what was missed, what is still unfinished. You have walked with me through every hour, even when I forgot to look for You.

Forgive what needs forgiving. Heal what needs healing. Plant in me, while I sleep, the quiet seeds of tomorrow’s mercy. Let my last thought be of Your Word, and my first thought, on waking, be of Your name.

Amen.
