Lord Jesus,
You stood in the garden when the night closed in around You,
and prayed until the angel came to strengthen Your trembling heart.
You know the shape of fear from the inside.

When anxiety presses on me — when sleep is restless and the future is dark — let me hear Your voice the way Your own disciples heard it on the storm-tossed sea: “It is I; do not be afraid.” Steady my breathing. Calm my thoughts. Hold me in the palm of Your wounded hand, and lead me through this hour into peace.

Amen.
