Pentecost begins behind locked doors and ends in the streets. The Spirit who comes as wind and fire does not leave the disciples where He finds them. He opens what was closed; He gives speech to what was silent; He sends out what was hidden.
The Church is born from this outpouring — not as a programme or an institution first, but as a community set on fire by the love of God. On this Solemnity, we ask the same Spirit to descend on us again, to thaw what is frozen, to bend what is stiff, and to make us bold witnesses of the Word that does not return empty.
